Versailles represents a reminder of the grandeur of classical French art. The lavish decoration and layout of the entire site reflect the will of King Louis XIV, known as the "Sun King". ITINERARY : 

We cross Paris by the western districts of the city before taking the motorway to the Versailles town. Average journey : 40 minutes. Guided visit to the King and Queen's reception halls and walk through the gardens with the guide for a visit of the spectacular fountains and the Neptune pond. The fountain show is accompanied by Baroque style music which was particularly popular with the Versailles court at this period.
